Arshavir Gharamyan Demands Investigation into Threats Made by Jivan Abrahamyan Against Bako Sahakyan
Hero of Artsakh, Lieutenant General Arshavir Gharamyan has addressed a request to the Prosecutor General of Artsakh, Arthur Mosiyan, demanding an investigation into the speech made by one of the organizers of the rally held on May 25 at the Freedom Square in Yerevan, Jivan Abrahamyan, which contains threats directed at the President of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan.
“I appeal to the Prosecutor General of Artsakh, Arthur Mosiyan, and demand that an investigation be conducted into the threats made during the speech by Jivan Abrahamyan, an organizer of the rally that took place on May 25 in the Freedom Square of the Republic of Armenia’s capital, aimed at committing violence against the President of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan.
I call for the preparation of materials and, if relevant articles of the Artsakh Criminal Code are present, to initiate a criminal case and provide a legal assessment of his actions. Attached to this statement is the video recording of the aforementioned part of J. Abrahamyan's speech,” reads the statement.
