Mr. Pashinyan, the Armenian Embassy is the only one that has not yet contacted the hospital director

Days ago, one of the Armenian citizens injured in a bus accident in Italy, Margarita Gyulumyan, addressed Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on her Facebook page, providing details about the performance of the Armenian Embassy in Italy following the incident and expressing her disappointment over the indifference of her country's authorities while abroad.

“Dear Mr. Nikol Pashinyan, dear Mr. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, the respect for our country begins with the policies conducted by Armenia's diplomatic representations and consular institutions in foreign states beyond the borders of the state.

The inactivity of the aforementioned institutions, sustained at the expense of the taxes of Armenian citizens, not only harms the interests of Armenian citizens in those countries but also lays the groundwork for the serious disregard towards Armenia as a state.

The fact that the official information regarding the traffic accident in Italy and the situation of Armenian citizens contradicts reality is one side of the issue.

Up to now, only our country’s authorities have not established any connection with the chief hospital director (let's note three days have passed).

Being an Armenian citizen, the indifference of my country’s authorities while in a foreign country creates a fertile ground for the overwhelming disappointment of realizing that we are considered citizens of a country that is capable of nothing but demagoguery.

According to the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, a person is the highest value in Armenia. The inalienable dignity of a person is the indestructible foundation of their rights and freedoms. The respect and protection of fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens are obligations of public authority, as these norms are only written for the sake of putting ink on paper.”
