I Have Not Yet Met the One Who Can Swallow Me: Naira Zohrabyan Responds to Armen Ashotyan
In 2014, the debate between Armen Ashotyan, then Minister of Education and Science, and Naira Zohrabyan, a deputy from the Prosperous Armenia Party, is still remembered by many. As reported by armdaily.am, during the debate, Armen Ashotyan referred to Naira Zohrabyan as a political "Cleopatra," saying: "You know what that means - a smart, beautiful woman trying to manipulate men to rule the world. Just like Cleopatra... She hardened herself so much that no poison would affect her; she had to find something more poisonous to sting herself and die. That's how Cleopatra ended her life." He was referring to how Cleopatra died from a snake bite.
A photo has surfaced showing Naira Zohrabyan with a royal python, calling Ashotyan’s attention.
Armen Ashotyan immediately responded by writing, "God forbid that other scenario. Please say what you have to say, please listen :) Especially since the python does not bite, it swallows immediately." Naira Zohrabyan replied, "Ashotyan's wish will remain unfulfilled. The one who can swallow me has not yet been born and is unlikely to be born in the first millennium."
