Video: Pashinyan Discusses the Creation of a Climate of Despair in Armenia

In Armenia, there should not be phenomena, starting from the education system to political factors, that constantly instill in people the idea that they cannot achieve anything, that they are incapable. This was stated today, on May 21, by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the conference "Fundamental Milestones of Economic Revolution in the Republic of Armenia" at the National Academy of Sciences, adding that this is the number one enemy in Armenia.

"This is a phenomenon that leads to poverty and despair. It contributes to the formation of a climate of despair in our country, where it seems there is no perspective and encourages the notion of 'let's take something and get by,'" he said.

The Prime Minister emphasized the topic of open sales of company shares, noting that they in the government are considering rehabilitating companies and making shares available for free sale to develop the sector.

According to Pashinyan, this will allow companies to attract investments through share sales, while citizens will have the opportunity to invest in shares. "When we say that deposits in banks are growing, immediate counter-criticism arises that citizens do not have other places to invest. This is indeed a major issue. One of the best forms of investment worldwide is investment in shares through IPOs," he emphasized.
