Lilit Makunts Believes Constitutional Order Was Not Violated

The leader of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly, Lilit Makunts, stated in a conversation with journalists that there is a growing mistrust among the public towards the judicial system.

When asked whether the constitutional order was violated this morning, she responded:

“I believe that the constitutional order has not been violated. What happened in the Republic of Armenia a few hours ago is in line with the logic of the revolutionary changes that took place already a year ago.”

Lilit Makunts noted that international organizations are currently not rushing to comment on the public's demand for justice.

“The international community is approaching the public's insatiable demand for an independent judiciary and a reformed judicial system in Armenia with understanding,” said Makunts.
