VAZ 21099 Vehicle Swerves into Oncoming Lane at Kyiv Bridge

At around 08:40 today, two vehicles collided at the start of the Kyiv Bridge: a VAZ 21099 driven by 18-year-old Gor Matevosyan and a Mitsubishi driven by Serob Haryan. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan at the scene, the driver of the VAZ 21099 and his passenger, Gagik Khachatryan, an Yerevan resident, were taken to Armenia Medical Center with bodily injuries.

Witnesses at the scene reported that the driver of the VAZ 21099 was behaving irresponsibly. Additionally, a man claiming to be the grandfather of the driver arrived at the scene, stating that his grandson had taken the car without permission. Following an investigator's order, the vehicles were moved to a special area maintained by the Yerevan Traffic Police. The photojournalist notes that the driver of the VAZ 21099 was at fault in the accident, having swerved into the oncoming lane and collided with the Mitsubishi.
