Alert Received About Bomb in Opera House

On May 19, at 13:03, the "911" service received information that a bomb had been placed in the building of the A. Spendiarian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Yerevan; rescue assistance was required.

A firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service, a rescue team from the specialized rescue operations center, a canine unit, operational and emergency response teams from the National Crisis Management Center, an instructor from the psychological support division, and an engineering rescue team from the Civil Defense Department were dispatched to the scene.
