Robert Kocharian Released from Yerevan Central Penitentiary
The second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, has been released from the National Security Service's isolation facility in the Yerevan Central Penitentiary and is now a free man. He exited the prison through the service entrance.
The court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan's Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts, presided over by judge Davit Grigoryan, today ruled to release the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, on personal bail.
It is noteworthy that on May 14, former and current presidents of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan and Arkadi Ghukasyan, submitted a bail guarantee to the court, personally securing his release by paying 500,000 drams each.
