VIDEO: Employee of Nor Nork Administrative District Distributed Bribes
The officers of the Organized Crime and Corruption Prevention Department of the Police have carried out various operational-investigative activities and found that the former head of the Nor Nork administrative district and the former head of its finance department distributed bribes to a group of individuals between January and March 2017, providing referrals for free medical assistance under state orders, demanding that citizens participate in the parliamentary elections of April 2, 2017, and vote for the former head's parliamentary candidate brother.
During the preparation of materials, it was clarified that the mentioned officials gave bribes of 10,000 drams to a group of individuals and provided referrals for free medical assistance under state orders in exchange for voting for the head of the district's brother.
On May 16, a criminal case was initiated at the Organized Crime and Corruption Prevention Department of the Police regarding the actions of a group of individuals in preliminary agreement, offering a bribe to an elector through an intermediary to vote for any of the candidates or providing any other advantage.
The criminal case has been sent to the Special Investigation Service by the police. Circumstances are being clarified during the pre-trial investigation.
