Video: Former Director of Sports School Embezzled Approximately 17 Million Drams

According to preliminary information, as a result of measures taken by the Directorate for the Fight Against Organized Crime of the Police, the Shirak Regional Department, and the Kumayri Division, it has been established that the former director of the "Ludvig Mnatsakanian Winter Sports School" State Non-Commercial Organization in Gyumri has committed illegal activities.

Based on information currently known to the investigation, the former director used their official position to issue appointments for seven individuals to various positions in the organization between 2016 and 2018, despite the fact that these individuals did not actually attend work. The total sum of salaries amounting to 16,860,000 drams, issued in their names, has been embezzled.

A criminal case has been initiated in relation to the apparent criminal activities, and it has been forwarded to the Shirak Regional Investigation Department for preliminary investigation.
