Pashinyan on Bako Sahakyan's Guarantee Regarding Kocharyan
I am aware of the request from Bako Sahakyan, President of Nagorno-Karabakh, to change Robert Kocharyan's measure of restraint; however, I do not intend to intervene in this issue. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a conversation with journalists upon his arrival from Russia today.
“He informed me one day before applying. I have expressed my attitude towards it. From a moral point of view, I regard this normally, but from a political standpoint, there are certain questions. How would the court in Karabakh respond if I tried to guarantee someone?” the Prime Minister noted.
It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by journalists from various news agencies including ITAR-TASS, RIA Novosti, Interfax, Lenta.ru, as well as radio stations Echo of Moscow, Komsomolskaya Pravda, and newspapers Kommersant, Izvestia, Moskovsky Komsomolets, and Novaya Gazeta, along with Russia Today television.
