I Expect Gazprom to Reduce Gas Prices for Armenia by the End of the Year – Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with a group of representatives from leading Russian mass media in Armenia. This was reported by the government’s press service.
The meeting was attended by journalists from news agencies such as ITAR-TASS, RIA Novosti, Interfax, and Lenta.ru, as well as from radio stations Echo of Moscow and Komsomolskaya Pravda, and newspapers Kommersant, Izvestia, Moskovsky Komsomolets, and Nezavisimaya Gazeta, along with Russia Today television.
"I am confident that this is possible. Our Russian partners do not deny the possibility of a price reduction, and they are ready to discuss this issue," Pashinyan stated during the meeting.
He noted that the issue of gas prices should be resolved with Gazprom by the end of the year.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the absence of discrimination in energy prices is the key to the effective functioning of the Eurasian Union.
