Abrahamyan: Kocharyan's Claims Regarding Media Are Untrue
Aram Abrahamyan, the editor-in-chief of "Aravot", reminded on his Facebook page that on March 2, 2008, he received a call informing him that the aravot.am website had been blocked at the request of the National Security Service (NSS).
"On the afternoon of March 2, 2008, I received a call from 'Arminco' (our then-provider) informing that the aravot.am website had been blocked at the request of the NSS. That night, a censor from the NSS occupied a position at the 'Tigran Mets' printing house, demanding that, according to the presidential decree, only official information regarding internal life be published.
('Aravot' did not comply with that demand then, and does not plan to do so now.) Therefore, at least in this regard, the claims of the second president in court do not correspond to reality," Abrahamyan wrote in his post.
