Tragic Car Accident in Hagharcin Village: Vehicle Crashes into Rocks and Overturns, Resulting in 1 Fatality

A tragic car accident occurred in the Tavush region. On May 15, at around 5:00 PM, a 35-year-old resident of Hagharcin, Gegham Gulinian, lost control of his vehicle while driving a UAZ model with license plate 34 DM 176 on the second street of Hagharcin village. Preliminary reports indicate that he veered off the roadway, crashed into roadside rocks, and overturned.

According to Shamshyan.com, one of the passengers, 67-year-old Maritza Gulinian, a fellow villager of the driver, sustained injuries and was transported to the 'Dilijan' medical center.

Police and investigators are uncovering the facts, revealing that the car was actually being driven not by Gegham Gulinian but instead by 69-year-old Grisha Gulinian, also a resident of Hagharcin, while Gegham was a passenger. Consequently, a criminal case has been initiated under the second part of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code, as directed by S. Saghatelyan.
