Sports Ministry Merges with Education Ministry
The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has signed into law amendments to the "Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government" passed by the National Assembly. This was reported by the President's press service.
According to the new law, the Ministry of Sports will merge with the Ministry of Education. The new entity will be called the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.
