Current and Former Presidents of Artsakh Pay 500,000 Drams for Kocharyan's Release

Bako Sahakyan and Arkadi Ghukasian have affirmed their guarantees for Robert Kocharyan's release.

In court, it became clear that they each paid 500,000 drams to the deposit account of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction. The payment receipts were presented to the court shortly before.

The court explained to the two presidents their rights and obligations, cautioning that the money deposited as a guarantee could be nationalized if the accused exhibits inappropriate behavior. Additionally, the court clarified that the individual who guarantees for a person in custody bears responsibility concerning potential criminal liability.
