Citizen Attempts to Jump from Kievyan Bridge

On May 16, at 06:09 AM, a call was received by the 911 service of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reporting that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide by jumping from the Kievyan Bridge. Immediate assistance from rescuers was required.

A firefighting rescue team was dispatched to the scene from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Rescuers and police personnel intervened to prevent the suicide attempt of E.S. (born in 1950).

The individual was subsequently taken to the Mashtots police station.
