Fire at Nubarashen Landfill: Approximately 230 Cubic Meters of Waste Burned

On May 15 at 09:33, the '911' service received information that assistance was needed to extinguish a fire at the Nubarashen landfill in Yerevan.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that three fire-rescue teams were dispatched to the scene from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Fire and Rescue Department.

The fire was contained by 15:33 and extinguished by 17:07, with approximately 230 cubic meters of waste burned.

From 17:23 to 20:00, one fire-rescue team remained on duty at the site.

The firefighting operations involved three water trucks from Sanitek LLC and one tractor from the municipality.
