Nikol Pashinyan Meets with Xi Jinping
During his working visit to China, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the President of China, Xi Jinping.
In his remarks, the Prime Minister noted that the Asian Civilization Dialogue Conference provides a good opportunity to meet and discuss prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
Pashinyan pointed out that both nations represent ancient civilizations, and the ties between the two peoples have been described in Armenian manuscripts since the 5th century, covering trade, humanitarian, and political aspects.
“Effective and constructive relations with China are very important for us,” stated Pashinyan, congratulating the Chinese President on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the revolution.
It is worth noting that earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Beijing with his wife, Anna Hakobyan.
Following the welcoming ceremony, the delegation led by the Prime Minister headed directly to the Great Hall of the People, where a meeting with Xi Jinping was scheduled.
