Chinese President Remembers Prominent Armenians During Meeting with Pashinyan

During a meeting on Tuesday in Beijing, the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, emphasized that China is well aware of the achievements of the Armenian people.

“We know the Armenian people well; we are familiar with the names of Aram Khachaturian, Artem Mikoyan, and Hovhannes Tumanyan. We are united by the goals of civilization cooperation,” Rusarminfo quoted Xi Jinping as saying.

During the meeting, the Chinese leader and the Armenian Prime Minister discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries and emphasized that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be resolved through dialogue.
