Rescuers Retrieve Body of Young Driver from Ravine
On May 13, at 8:21 AM, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report via the 911 service that an accident had occurred on the Zaritap-Gomk highway. A vehicle veered off the roadway and rolled into a ravine, resulting in a fatality, prompting the need for rescue assistance.
Rescue teams, including one fire and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with operational groups from the regional crisis management center and the regional rescue department, were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that at the 13th km of the Vayk-Gomk highway, a VAZ-2107 vehicle (driven by G.M., born in 1984) had gone off the main roadway and rolled approximately 200 meters into a field pathway, where the driver was found dead at the site.
Rescuers retrieved the body from the ravine and brought it closer to the ambulance.
