New Details on Major Car Accident on Saralanj Street
The Senior Investigator of the Road Traffic Accident Investigation and Administrative Proceedings Division of the Road Police, Khachik Gevorgyan, has prepared materials clarifying the identities of the drivers involved and the injured party in a major accident that occurred on May 10 on Saralanj Street in Yerevan, where a Mercedes and a Toyota fell from a bridge from a height of about 12 meters.
According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, it has been determined that the Mercedes was driven by 23-year-old Davit Shahnazaryan, a resident of Andranik Street in Yerevan. The accident occurred when his Mercedes collided with a concrete barrier at the edge of the road, then struck an iron railing, subsequently falling from the bridge and colliding with a Toyota vehicle driven by 22-year-old Gegham Gasparyan, also a resident of Yerevan.
As a result of the accident, driver D. Shahnazaryan was taken to the Mikayelian Surgical Institute. His passenger, 29-year-old Noy Simonian, was transported to the St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, while driver G. Gasparyan was taken to the Izmirlian Medical Center.
