Maneul Grigoryan's Condition Deteriorates in Court, Respiratory Device Connected

At the general jurisdiction court of Yerevan, the health condition of former president of the Yerkrapah Volunteers Union, former MP, and General Maneul Grigoryan has worsened during the court session in the case involving him and his wife, Nazik Amiryan. Doctors have been forced to connect a respiratory device.

According to a correspondent from NEWS.am, the court session is currently ongoing.

It is important to recall that according to the indictment conclusion, Maneul Grigoryan, in conspiracy with his wife, Nazik Amiryan, their son Arman Grigoryan, and other unidentified individuals, unlawfully acquired, transported, and illegally stored firearms, military ammunition, and explosives in three houses they own, circumventing the restrictions outlined in the Armenian Law on Weapons. He has also committed various types of thefts.

Grigoryan is accused of embezzling property that was allocated to meet the needs of soldiers and volunteers protecting the borders of the Republic of Artsakh during the April 2016 Four-Day War and the days that followed.

According to the accusation, Nazik Amiryan, in collusion with her husband, Maneul Grigoryan, their son Arman Grigoryan, and unidentified others, unlawfully acquired, transported, and illegally stored firearms, military ammunition, and explosives in three houses they own, and also committed various thefts.

For Maneul Grigoryan, pretrial detention has been selected as a measure of restraint, while Nazik Amiryan has been given a signature not to leave the country.
