Three Companies Owned by Gagik Tsarukyan Suing the State Revenue Committee

Three companies owned by the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, have filed a lawsuit against the State Revenue Committee (SRC). These three companies—Multi-Leon LLC, Multi Gaz LLC, and Multi Service LLC—have collectively submitted five claims. This was reported by 168.am.

On January 8 of this year, Multi-Leon LLC filed a petition with the Administrative Court of Armenia, requesting to declare as unlawful the SRC's decision No. 6 and 7 dated December 17, 2018, issued by the head of the SRC’s Major Taxpayers’ Office, A. Hovhannisyan. The first instance court rejected the acceptance of the petition, but the appellate administrative court upheld Multi-Leon’s appeal against the lower court's ruling. Therefore, the case will be examined on its merits.

Multi-Leon’s second lawsuit was submitted in late March. The company demands the complete invalidation of the SRC's act No. 3000858 dated January 17, 2019, which was issued following a comprehensive tax audit conducted in the company. The preliminary court session is scheduled for May 23.

The first lawsuit from Multi Gaz regarding the annulment of the SRC’s decision was rejected by the administrative court, but the appellate court has overturned that decision, and the case is set for re-examination on May 2.

Multi Gaz's second lawsuit pertains to the demand for the complete invalidation of the SRC's operational investigation act No. 3001387 dated January 21, 2019, issued due to the comprehensive tax audit. The first court session for this matter is scheduled for August 13.

On April 19, Multi Service LLC filed a lawsuit against the SRC’s Small Taxpayers’ Office, requesting the annulment of act No. 3001612 dated February 18, 2019. The initial session for this lawsuit is set for June 18.
