Wife of Man Who Died in Yerevan Car Accident Blames Doctors
The investigation unit of the Nor-Nork division of the police is preparing materials based on the complaint of Yerevan resident Haikanush Abgaryan.
According to Shamshyan.com, she has appealed to the General Prosecutor's Office of Armenia, stating that her husband, 48-year-old Karen Hakobyan, was hospitalized with bodily injuries at the "St. Grigor Lusavorich" medical center following a car accident in Yerevan on April 6. She alleges that the doctors failed to properly fulfill their professional duties. Afterward, her husband was transferred to the "Izmirlian" medical center, where he later died.
Haikanush Abgaryan blames the doctors for her husband’s death and has requested law enforcement to conduct a preliminary investigation. The complaint has been sent from the Nor-Nork Prosecutor's Office to the police for further investigation under Articles 180-181 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Armenia.
As previously reported, Karen Hakobyan passed away on April 9 at the "Izmirlian" medical center in Yerevan, after being transferred there with a critical diagnosis following a major traffic accident on April 6 on Tbilisyan Highway, in front of the "Gazprom Armenia" company.
