Collision Involving Mercedes, Toyota, Hyundai, and Vaz Results in Injuries
On May 8, a major chain-reaction car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 3:00 PM, vehicles including a Mercedes with license plate 35 RD 145, another Mercedes with license plate 71 ZZ 333, a VAZ 2101 with license plate 34 FO 860, a Hyundai with license plate 440 ST 01, and a Toyota with license plate 34 PT 442 collided on David Bek Boulevard.
According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, two individuals were transported to the ‘Erebuni’ medical center with bodily injuries.
G. Shamshyan also reports that following the collision, the VAZ 2101 ended up in the middle of the road, while one of the Mercedes vehicles veered off the roadway, crashed into stones, and landed on the sidewalk intended for pedestrians.
The impact caused the rear wheels of the VAZ 2101 and its gas cylinder to detach and be thrown from the vehicle.
