Photo: Chevrolet Niva Near ‘Gnumu’ Market Turns to Ashes

A major vehicle accident and fire occurred in Yerevan. On May 5, at an unknown time, vehicles collided near the ‘Gnumu’ market at 22 Vardanants Street. The cars involved were a Toyota Corolla with license plate 35 VG 255, a BMW-525 with license plate 36 AD 487, a Volkswagen Golf with license plate 88 MM 858, and a Chevrolet Niva with license plate 104 NV 01.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, the Chevrolet Niva crashed into an electrical equipment store at number 254 on the same street and subsequently ignited a fire.

Preliminary reports indicate that three of the vehicles, including the Chevrolet Niva, were parked at the time of the incident. The police are also verifying the accuracy of this information.
