Honda Collides with Iron Power Pole in Yerevan: One Injured

Today, on May 3, a serious traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 18:00, the driver of a Honda vehicle with the license plate 35 DT 216 lost control under still unknown circumstances, veering off the roadway on Gayi Avenue and colliding with an iron power pole.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the driver was taken to the "Saint Grigor Lusavorich" Medical Center with bodily injuries.

Emergency personnel from the first patrol company of the traffic police arrived at the scene quickly, led by squad commander Arsen Stepanyan. The operator on duty at Yerevan's traffic police operational management center, Karen Hovakimyan, reported the incident to the division responsible for transportation accidents, from where a duty group led by senior investigator Sargis Gevorgyan arrived to prepare documentation on the facts.

The police are working to establish the identity of the driver. Representatives of the "Armenia Electric Networks" company also quickly arrived at the scene due to damage to the power pole caused by the accident.

Notification: The person suspected or accused of a crime is considered innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the procedure established by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia, by a court ruling that has entered into legal force.
