Counterfeit Diploma Created by Himself: Details of the Case Involving Pashinyan's Relative
The newspaper "Joghourd" reports: "According to the information from the newspaper 'Joghourd', a criminal case has been initiated in the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia against Mamikon Hovhannisyan, an engineer at the 'Dilijan National Park SNCO' under the Ministry of Environment. As it is known, he is a relative of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The charges have been brought under part 1 of Article 325 of the RA Criminal Code (forgery of documents, seals, and stamps).
According to the information we have received, the preliminary investigation body has established that Hovhannisyan did not receive that diploma from any educational institution but rather created it himself by forging and submitting it for employment at the SNCO.
It should be noted that a preventive measure has been chosen against Hovhannisyan in the form of a signed undertaking not to leave the country.
