Wounded Soldier Undergoing Surgery

Argishti Sepkhaian, who was wounded on April 30 in the Tavush region from enemy fire, is currently undergoing surgery. This was confirmed in an interview with Tert.am by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Artsrun Hovhannisyan.

Hovhannisyan noted that he could not specify whether the surgery was complex, but it has been lengthy and is taking place on the head.

“His life is not in danger,” Hovhannisyan stated.

It is worth recalling that earlier, Artsrun Hovhannisyan had written that the condition of the contract soldier wounded in Tavush was severely stable, having sustained injuries to the head, and was transferred to Yerevan by helicopter.
