Turkish and Azerbaijani Fans Express Discontent Over McGregor's Post about Armenians

UFC former champion and controversial Australian fighter Conor McGregor has expressed his support for Armenians regarding the recognition of the Armenian Genocide of 1915. He made the announcement on his Twitter microblog.

“I stand with the Armenian group all day. Dillon Danis and Kardashians. You have no business with Armenians,” McGregor wrote.

The athlete also stated that “the Armenians will continue to fight until victory.”

Following the post, the athlete’s fans were divided: while Armenians expressed gratitude for the support, Turkish and Azerbaijani fans voiced their discontent over such content.
