No Information Presented to Me About Businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, Says Ananyan

The head of the State Revenue Committee, Davit Ananyan, does not recall the taxpayers as there are too many of them. Today, journalists in the National Assembly asked the head of the SRC if he knows of a businessman named Gagik Tsarukyan who pays taxes.

In response, Ananyan stated, “Active taxpayers who are carrying out certain operations in the tax system, that is, submitting reports and paying taxes, number around 85-90 thousand. If you think I know all of them by heart, I appreciate it, but please do not expect such considerations from my memory.”

When asked if he excludes the possibility of a businessman named Gagik Tsarukyan existing, Ananyan replied, “I will say that in my daily administrative activities, I have not been presented with any businessman by that name and surname by my subordinates.”

The journalist attempted to clarify if he had had personal discussions regarding this matter with Tsarukyan, to which Ananyan responded, “I do not have personal communication with Mr. Tsarukyan.”
