‘My Step’ faction has not yet issued a stance on Tsarukyan's issue

The meeting between several members of the ‘My Step’ faction and the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, has just concluded, as reported by Aysor.am.

After the working discussion, ‘My Step’ MP Ruben Rubinyan stated in a brief conversation with journalists that the topics of discussion were related to the faction's upcoming activities.

“We have discussed the 7 proposals from the ‘Citizen’s Decision’ party along with those issues. A faction meeting will be held soon, and we will reach a conclusion accordingly,” Rubinyan announced.

It should be noted that the ‘Citizen’s Decision’ (CD) party has appealed to the Prosecutor’s Office and urged the Speaker of the National Assembly to raise the issue of suspending its parliamentary powers. Later, the leader of the ‘My Step’ faction, Lilit Makunts, stated that the Speaker would make a statement on this matter.

Rubinyan mentioned that no statement from the Speaker is expected today.
