Drone Flight Conducted Near Zvartnots Airport
A drone operated by a remote-controlled system has been flown in the vicinity of Zvartnots International Airport. In order to clarify the details of the flight, a working group has been established by the order of the head of the Civil Aviation Committee. This was reported on the Civil Aviation Committee's Facebook page.
The post states:
“The working group has registered a violation of flight rules, specifically a violation of Article 121 of the Administrative Offenses Code and the regulations established by the order number 56-N from 2007 of the head of the Civil Aviation Administration of the Republic of Armenia regarding the approval of the procedure for conducting training and special flights in the Republic of Armenia.”
The Civil Aviation Committee, as an administrative body, has initiated administrative proceedings concerning the violation, resulting in a decision to impose an administrative fine on the individual who committed the violation.
We request that the rules for flying remotely operated drones be strictly adhered to, as they pose direct threats to flight and aviation safety.
Furthermore, please be informed that failure to comply with flight regulations may result in an administrative fine amounting to one hundred times the minimum wage.”
