VIDEO: 16-Year-Old Boy Arrested While Transferring Drugs

According to information received by the Vagharshapat division of the police regarding illegal drug trafficking, a 32-year-old resident of Etchmiadzin, Garnik V., has been storing, using, and selling drugs. This information was reported by the official website of the RA Police.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Vagharshapat police division. On the same day, criminal investigation officers discovered Garnik V. and arrested him while he was transferring drugs to a 16-year-old boy in Yerevan. During a personal search of Garnik V., a crushed, dried substance resembling cannabis was found, weighing over 15 grams in total.

“Within the framework of the initiated criminal case, continuing operational investigative measures, we found out that Garnik V. had acquired the discovered drugs from a resident of Etchmiadzin, Arman T. By order of the court, Arman T.'s residence was searched, resulting in the discovery of a crushed, dried substance resembling marijuana weighing 100 grams in total,” stated operative officer Gevorg Mikayelyan.

Arman T. has also been taken to the Vagharshapat police division from his residence. The criminal case initiated in the police and the suspects apprehended have been handed over to the territorial investigative department. The circumstances of the case are under investigation.
