Dramatic Car Accident in Ararat Region; Several Hospitalized

On April 28, a major car accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 20:35, Nishan Harutyunyan, a 35-year-old resident of the village of Arevabuyr, collided with a VAZ 2109 driven by 32-year-old Artush Gyulamiryans at the beginning of the Yerevan highway in the village of Mrgavet, while operating his Nissan X Trail with the license plate 35 MC 908.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, after the initial collision, Harutyunyan continued forward and crashed into the wall and windows of a shop owned by 42-year-old Aram Gevorgyan, an individual entrepreneur from Mrgavet village. The vehicle overturned and was partially left in the middle of the road.

As a result of the accident, driver N. Harutyunyan and a passenger, 57-year-old Karapet Harutyunyan, were taken to the Erebuni Medical Center with bodily injuries.
