Road Accident on Kapan-Kajaran Highway Leaves Several Injured

On April 25 at 14:46, the "911" service received a call about a road accident on the Kapan-Kajaran highway, indicating that there were injured individuals and assistance was needed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a firefighting and rescue unit was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that three vehicles were involved in the collision at the 18th kilometer of the M-2 highway: a "VAZ-2106" (driver G.B., born in 1989), a "VAZ-2107" (driver T.K., born in 1995), and a "KAMAZ" (driver A.H.).

Drivers T.K. and G.B., as well as a passenger of the "VAZ-2106" identified as A.I. (born in 1987), were hospitalized at Kapan Medical Center, where doctors assessed T.K. and G.B.’s health condition as satisfactory, while A.I. was rated as moderately severe.

Rescuers disconnected the vehicles from power, closed the valves of the gas tanks, and secured the area.
