I Will Die for the Law: Barsegh Beglaryan in Court

"I have always been guilty before God, I am always a law-abiding person before the law, I will die for the law," said businessman Barsegh Beglaryan during a conversation with journalists at the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, responding to a question about whether he considers himself guilty.

Referring to the new criminal case opened against him, Beglaryan stated that he is not aware of the details and that questions should be directed to the witness providing testimony.

He declined to answer other questions, only briefly responding to an inquiry about whether he is satisfied with the economic policy during the post-revolutionary period: "Who am I to be satisfied or dissatisfied?" he said.

During today’s court session, evidence underlying the accusatory conclusion was examined, particularly information obtained from communication services, which, according to Barsegh Beglaryan, is convoluted.

Barsegh Beglaryan, the president of "Flash" LLC, and H. Hovsepyan, the head of the "Kanaker" base of "Flash" LLC, have been charged under Article 322, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
