Who Fired into the Air in Alaverdi

On April 20, following operational measures and explanatory work, police officials identified the individual who fired a weapon on Saят-Нова Street in the city of Alaverdi on April 19, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

Yesterday, 35-year-old Robert Kirakosyan, a resident of Alaverdi, presented himself to the Tumanyan police station and confessed that while being under the influence, he fired into the air from a 12 mm caliber smoothbore hunting rifle belonging to his friend, 45-year-old Karen Agekyan, who also resides on Saят-Нова Street.

According to the source, Robert Kirakosyan works as the head of automotive services at the AY-SI-PI company. Police also recovered the rifle. Investigative materials are being prepared at the Tumanyan police department regarding the incident, and a forensic examination has been appointed.
