An Online Platform for Conducting Referendums Will Be Launched

Following the Mayor's directive, specialists from "Yerevan Management Technologies" LLC are developing an online platform that will enable public surveys to gauge the opinions of the public on issues concerning Yerevan. This information was provided to Tert.am by the Public Relations Department of the Yerevan Municipality.

"The technical work on the website's platform is nearly complete, and the platform will be operational soon," the municipality's response stated.

It is noteworthy that during pre-election meetings with Yerevan residents, Mayor Hayk Marutyan mentioned that if elected, decisions regarding Yerevan would be made through referendums. To ensure this, a special platform for referendums will be created on the municipality's website.

The municipality also informed Tert.am that, under Hayk Marutyan's decision, approximately 500,000 drams from the community budget has been allocated to finance project proposals submitted by Yerevan residents. Financing-eligible proposals will be determined on the newly created online platform.
