Details Emerged About Diesel Fuel Embezzlement Case

New details have emerged about the case of diesel fuel embezzlement.

On April 19, reports were made regarding the embezzlement of diesel fuel. Officers from the Talin division of the police, acting on operational information, apprehended 24-year-old Gevorg M. on April 19 at 01:40 near the 81st km of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, in the area of the Mashtots village administrative territory, while he was driving a "Mercedes" vehicle. He confessed that he had embezzled 80 liters of diesel fuel from the tanks of the construction machinery entrusted to him by using a rubber hose to siphon the fuel on the same day at around 00:05.

Later, as a result of actions taken by the Talin police, the embezzled diesel fuel was discovered and seized at 08:20 the same day from the site where the construction machinery was stationed along the Yerevan-Gyumri road.

During the preparatory investigation, it was found that Gevorg M. had embezzled a total of 40 liters of diesel fuel in the same manner during the month of April, for which he also provided a confession.

Measures are being taken to discover any further embezzled fuel.
