David Sanasaryan's Term of Office Temporarily Suspended

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has received a decision from the preliminary investigation body to temporarily suspend the term of office of the head of the State Oversight Service, David Sanasaryan. This was reported to the media by the Prime Minister's spokesperson, Vladimir Karapetyan.

Earlier, the National Security Service announced that David Sanasaryan was facing charges under part 1 of Article 308 of the Criminal Code of Armenia, namely for the abuse of office.

As a measure of restraint, a signature bond not to leave the country has been applied to David Sanasaryan.
