Football Player of Ararat 2 Dies from Gunshot Wounds in Yerevan

A football player of Yerevan's Ararat 2, 23-year-old goalkeeper Musheg Ghevondyan, has died from gunshot wounds. This information was confirmed in a conversation with the press service of the club by Haykakan Zhamanak.

Earlier, shamshyan.com reported that yesterday, on April 15, gunshots were heard near building 25 on Lepsius Street, and three individuals were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, one of whom was Musheg Ghevondyan. He passed away in the intensive care unit without regaining consciousness.

Police and investigators discovered a BMW vehicle with license plate 14 GR 014, which transported the injured to the hospital. The rear window of the car was damaged, and according to Shamshyan, there are indications that the gunshots originated from that vehicle.

Ghevondyan was registered to participate in matches with the Ararat 2 team.
