Former Members of the Republican Party Return Amid Increased Activity

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that in recent days, there has been a lively atmosphere at the Republican Party (RP) office, with the previous desert-like silence replaced by increased movement. There are no closed doors, and everyone is coming and sitting until the end of the day, as Serzh Sargsyan is in the office holding meetings throughout the day. There are lines again in the lobby.

Those who had left are now returning, although not everyone is being welcomed back. “The director is quite upset with some of them,” sources told us.

There is also interest in the Republican Party from both Russian and Western emissaries.

“They have issues with parliamentary representatives regarding communications outside the protocol—adequate people in power are few, they can't communicate directly with Nikol; they are trying to fill the gap with contacts from other forces, at least in terms of being informed.”

Additionally, officials at the Republican Party office no longer have secretaries or drivers. They are driving their own cars, stating that “funds are scarce.”
