Fatal Car Accident in Gegharkunik Province, Injuries Reported

Today, April 12, a major and tragic car accident occurred in Gegharkunik Province, reports Shamshyan.com.

Around 20:10, on the 3rd kilometer stretch of the Tsovagyugh-Jambarak-Shorja road, in the administrative territory of Tsovagyugh, a collision took place between a VAZ 2121 vehicle with license plate 47 XX 888 and a VAZ 21070 vehicle with license plate 13 SL 783.

As a result of the accident, one person died at the scene, and two others, one of whom is in extremely critical condition, were transferred to the Sevan Medical Center.

The police and the investigative department are working to establish the identities of the drivers, the deceased, and the injured.

According to the source, witnesses at the scene reported that one of the causes of the accident was also the potholes on the road.
