Levon Ter-Petrosyan's Testimony in the March 1 Case: Zhoghovurd
According to the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper, despite the criminal case initiated regarding the publication of testimonies of key witnesses in the 'March 1' case, we continue to assert that we have not violated any laws and will subsequently publish excerpts from the testimonies in our possession.
Thus, we present the testimony given by the first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, in the Special Investigative Service of Armenia.
Initially, it should be noted that it contains no new information. The impression is that Ter-Petrosyan's testimony reflects a transcript of the press conference he gave on March 1, 2008, with only two additional expected questions posed.
For comparison, it is worth noting that investigators have asked the second President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, 26 questions. While Sargsyan's interrogation lasted for three days, Ter-Petrosyan's lasted only three hours.
