Old "Tradition": Pothole Repairs Just Before Pashinyan's Visit to Armavir Will Fall Apart in a Few Days

The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports that the Yerevan-Armavir highway is undergoing urgent repairs just before Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Armavir. This practice was also seen before the visits of previous presidents.

Why are these repairs being done literally one or two days before the visit? The reason is more than clear: the repairs are of such poor quality that the asphalt will fall apart in a few days, and Prime Minister Pashinyan needs to be able to go and return while the road is still intact.

For more details, see today’s issue of the newspaper.
