‘No one wrote about it’. Tsarukyan's remark directed at Pashinyan.

‘No one wrote about it’. Tsarukyan's remark directed at Pashinyan.

‘Zhamanak’ newspaper reports: ‘When the French announced that they would increase the grape procurement price by 10 drams at the Yerevan brandy factory, everyone wrote and talked about it, but when Tsarukyan was buying grapes last year at 150 drams, no one wrote about that. I am not upset by this; I do it so that people can earn at least a few extra drams to provide for their children,’ stated Gagik Tsarukyan, the president of the Prosperous Armenia Party, during a meeting with grape growers in Ararat province's Masis.

Tsarukyan's remark clearly pertains to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who was the first to announce the decision of the Yerevan Brandy Company to increase the grape procurement price by 10 drams, while last autumn, he said nothing about the fact that the ‘Noy’ factory, owned by Tsarukyan, was purchasing grapes at a price that was also 10 drams higher than that of the Yerevan Brandy Company.
