Border Village Resident Discovers Foreign Pigeons with Turkish Coins Attached

Today, April 10, Shamshyan.com received several phone calls from residents of the border village of Chinchin in the Tavush region. They reported that a local resident, Gagik Isakhakyan, who raises pigeons, noticed that two unfamiliar pigeons had mixed in with his flock after he had released them into the air.

The villagers stated: “When G. Isakhakyan returned the pigeons to their perch, he discovered that the two unfamiliar pigeons had Turkish coins (5 kurus) tied to their feet with string.”
