Window of the Accounting Room Forced Open: Revelation

The investigation into the theft case from the accounting department of a company in the Kotayk region has concluded, according to the Investigative Committee of Armenia. Based on the evidence collected, charges have been filed against a 22-year-old supervisor of the company.

According to preliminary investigation data, on March 21, 2019, the supervisor of the greenhouse organization, born in 1996, was aware that the financial resources of the company were stored in the cabinet of the accounting room and aimed to secretly steal a substantial amount of cash from there.

To achieve this, the 22-year-old youth forced open the window of the accounting room, illegally entered the premises, and using a metal tool he had previously taken, opened the cash cabinet and secretly stole the money contained within.

Based on the combination of sufficient evidence gathered in the pre-trial proceedings, the 22-year-old has been charged under Article 177, Part 2, Point 3 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. A signature was chosen as a measure of restraint to ensure he does not flee.

The completion of the preliminary investigation has been announced, and the criminal case has been sent to court with an accusatory conclusion.
